PageLegal provides an automated tool that generates legal document templates (including but not limited to Privacy Policies, Terms of Service, and Cookie Policies) based on information you provide through our web forms. The Service processes your input data client-side in your browser and produces customized document templates for download.

4. Use of the Service

You must be at least 18 years of age to use this Service. By using the Service, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use the Service in any way that violates any applicable federal, state, local, or international law or regulation
• Attempt to interfere with, compromise the system integrity or security, or decipher any transmissions to or from the servers running the Service
• Use any automated system, including bots or scrapers, to access the Service
• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense documents generated by the Service as a competing document generation service
• Misrepresent documents generated by PageLegal as having been prepared or reviewed by a licensed attorney

5. Payments and Refunds

Certain features of the Service require payment. All payments are processed through our third-party payment processor. Prices are listed on our website and are subject to change. All sales are final. Because the Service delivers digital goods that are generated and made available immediately upon purchase, we generally do not offer refunds. However, if you experience a technical issue that prevents you from accessing your purchased documents, please contact us and we will work to resolve the issue.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, code, and branding, is owned by PageLegal and protected by intellectual property laws. Documents generated by the Service are provided to you under a perpetual, non-exclusive license for your personal or business use. You may publish generated documents on your own website(s) and modify them as needed. You may not resell the generated documents as part of a competing legal document generation service.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL PAGELEGAL, ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION:

• Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
• Legal claims, fines, penalties, or regulatory actions arising from your use of documents generated by the Service
• Damages resulting from reliance on any document generated by the Service without independent legal review
• Any failure of a generated document to comply with applicable laws in your jurisdiction
• Any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in generated documents

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PageLegal and its owners, officers, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your publication or use of any document generated by the Service; (c) your violation of these Terms; (d) your violation of any applicable law or regulation; or (e) any claim by a third party related to a document you generated using the Service.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE AND ALL DOCUMENTS GENERATED BY THE SERVICE ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ACCURACY.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT: (A) THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE; (B) DOCUMENTS GENERATED BY THE SERVICE WILL BE LEGALLY ADEQUATE, ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR SUITABLE FOR YOUR NEEDS; (C) DOCUMENTS WILL COMPLY WITH THE LAWS OF ANY PARTICULAR JURISDICTION; OR (D) THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in our principal place of business.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the website. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
