1. Introduction

PageLegal ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our website and legal document generation service (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide in the generator form: When you use our document generator, you enter information such as your business name, website URL, business type, contact email, and details about the data your business collects. This information is processed entirely in your browser (client-side) and is not transmitted to or stored on our servers. We do not have access to the information you enter into the generator form.

Payment information: If you purchase a document download, payment is processed by our third-party payment processor (LemonSqueezy). We do not collect, store, or have access to your credit card number or payment details. Please refer to our payment processor's privacy policy for information about how they handle your payment data.

Automatically collected information: When you visit our website, our hosting provider (Vercel) may automatically collect standard web server log data, which may include your IP address, browser type, referring page, and the date and time of your visit. This data is used for website performance and security purposes only.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the limited information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To provide and maintain the Service
  • To process your purchases and deliver digital products
  • To monitor and analyze website usage and performance
  • To detect, prevent, and address technical issues or abuse
  • To comply with legal obligations

4. Data Storage and Security

PageLegal is designed with privacy in mind. The document generation process runs entirely in your browser. The information you enter into the generator form is stored temporarily in your browser's session storage and is automatically deleted when you close the browser tab. We do not store your form data, generated documents, or personal information on any server or database.

While we take reasonable measures to protect the information associated with our Service, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may collect information:

6. Cookies

PageLegal does not use cookies for tracking or advertising purposes. We may use essential cookies or local storage strictly necessary for the Service to function (such as maintaining your session while using the generator form). Our third-party service providers may set their own cookies as described in their respective privacy policies.

7. Your Rights Under GDPR

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the following data protection rights:

  • The right to access your personal data
  • The right to rectification of inaccurate data
  • The right to erasure ("right to be forgotten")
  • The right to restrict processing
  • The right to data portability
  • The right to object to processing

Because we do not store your personal data on our servers, there is typically no personal data for us to access, modify, or delete. If you have questions about your data, please contact us.

8. Your Rights Under CCPA

If you are a California resident, you have the right to: know what personal information is collected about you; request deletion of your personal information; opt out of the sale of personal information; and not be discriminated against for exercising your privacy rights.

We do not sell your personal information. Because our document generation runs client-side and we do not store your form data, we have minimal personal information about you.

9. Children's Privacy

Our Service is not directed to anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has used our Service, please contact us.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
